An excited Akshay Kumar jetted off to London to cheer for the Indian women's cricket team playing at the Lord's on Sunday. While the actor rooted for the women in blue, even holding up the Indian flag each time they inched closer to victory, it was the manner in which he held the tricolour that caught the attention of social media users.
Though Khiladi Kumar failed to notice that he had held the flag upside down, trolls didn't spare him. Taking to Twitter yesterday, Akki apologised, writing: "Extending my sincerest apology for violating the code of conduct for the tricolor. Didn't mean to offend anyone."
