The short film is based on the myths surrounding the Ambaji Temple in Gujarat. Shiv is the grandson of the late filmmaker Ramanand Sagar, best remembered for the Ramayan television series.
Jaya Bachchan and Shiv’s father, Prem Sagar were batchmates back in FTII, Pune. It is said that the Gujarat tourism folk had approached Shiv for the film.
