Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has said that the failure of his last film, 'Bombay Velvet' (2015), was completely his fault since there were instances where he should have taken a stand, but did not.

The filmmaker stated this at the trailer launch of his upcoming movie 'Raman Raghav 2.0' yesterday through which he hopes to seek redemption. (Watch the trailer here)

Almost a year after his Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma-starrer tanked at the box office, the filmmaker has said directors need to put their foot down and oppose anything which goes against the film they are making. “We give in to a lot of pressure; we go on a back foot,” he added.
