Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji will fly to the US to take special VFX training for his next film

Ayan Mukerji, who plans to make a superhero film, has already started working on his project. Says a source, “Ayan’s next venture is a superhero film which is most likely to go on the floors in 2015.

He wants his film to be technically sound in the VFX department. In fact, he doesn’t want it to be less than any other Hollywood production in terms of its VFX and is now planning to fly to the US, where he will take up a VFX course.”
It is seems that Ranbir Kapoor, one of Ayan’s closest friends, is aware of the filmmaker’s plans, and has been supportive of it. A friend adds, “Ayan, whose last film with Ranbir and Deepika was a blockbuster, doesn’t want to take any chances now. He will soon head to Los Angeles and will spend at least 5 months there.
During this period, he will take up VFX workshops to familiarise himself with the latest technology.” Sources also add that Ayan wants to cast his favourites, Ranbir and Deepika Padukone in the film. “However, nothing has been confirmed yet,” says the source. Ayan remained unavailable for comment.
