Find out what B-Towners did this festive season

Diwali is over. All the card parties, bonding with friends and family, and the all-night bashes with catered menus are over. The lights outside the homes have been switched off, and the bottles of champagnes have been downed. But what lingers is the fatigue from the party season. We decided to indulge in a bit of Diwali nostalgia and ask the folks of B-Town what is the one thing they did this Diwali and the one thing they refrained from doing. They happily shared the details. Yeah, it wasn't as if we were asking them how much money they won in Teen Patti. Now, that is privileged information.

Sonakshi Sinha
u00a0"I lit diyas, one by one with my own hands. And placed them all over the house. I love doing that. I don't light crackers. I completely avoid anything that adds to the noise pollution. I don't burst crackers for Diwali and definitely discourage family and friends from doing the same."

Dino Morea
Ensured that all my dogs are hidden away from the noise and crackers because animals get very aggravated by the noise. I make sure I left on all the lights in my house. One never knows when Goddess Laxmi might decide to enter.

Asin
No matter where I am I like to be back near my parents for Diwali. We decorated the house, prepared traditional mithai, and wore new clothes ufffdsome traditions refuse to die. Thank God for that! And gorged on sweets! Diwali is the time when Iu00a0 throw my diet out of the window. I love laddoos and jalebis.

Urmila Matondkar
The one thing that I make sure I do during Diwali is to gorge on all the yummy sweets without guilt or worry about my figure ufffd and yes, when I see my family around me I thank God for au00a0 great life with such a beautiful array ofu00a0 family and friends. The one thing I don't do is burst noisy crackers.

Neha Dhupia
To me, there is just one do and one don't for Diwali. I always play cards and never burst firecrackers.

David Dhawan
Aur kuch ho yaa na ho, the family has to do Laxmi puja together. It's an annual ritual we can't do without.

Sonu Sood
Every year for Diwali, I make sure I perform puja with my family and I don't allow non-vegetarian food in my house. Playing cards and drinking are also highly avoidable. So for me, Diwali is a dry day.

Tusshar Kapoor
I didn't play cards and I didn't light crackers. I spent time with my parents and sister. And with close friends.

Raima Sen
I make sure to buy something in gold for luck. Lighting diyas is au00a0 must. Also avoided crackers, like I do every year

Hema Malini
Each Diwali, Esha, Ahanau00a0 and I make sure we wear new clothes. And we try not to eat too many sweets.

Mahie Gill
No matter what happens I make sure that during Diwali I am with my family. According to me that's the best gift you can give to yourself.
