Singer Benny Dayal to take off on UK tour with AR Rahman; to also jam with three British acts

Badtameez Dil singer Benny Dayal is gearing up for a UK tour with AR Rahman and Neeti Mohan with a series of concerts lined up later this month. “It’s quite an honour and a pleasure,” he says about being part of a group that also includes Hariharan and Jonita Gandhi (of Sau Tarah Ke fame).
Says the singer, who just got hitched to his longtime girlfriend, model Catherine Thangam, “I am in touch with Jack Garratt, Viola Beach and Sundara Karma. I am waiting to jam together under one roof. People should definitely check them out, that’s some mad talent.”
Garratt is a solo multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, while Viola Beach and Sundara Karma are rock bands with a signature arena-heavy sound. Adds Benny, “I feel a connect with these guys, musically. A collaboration is in the offing.” He is also a part of the alternative music scene and will debut at the main event for Red Bull’s live music IP Tour Bus with his group, Benny Dayal Funktuation.
