Salman Khan hosted a party last night to celebrate Arbaaz and Arpita's birthday

Salman Khan hosted a belated birthday bash last night at a suburban night club to celebrate his brother Arbaaz (August 4) and sister Arpita's (August 3) birthdays.

Every year, Salman throws a big bash for his younger sister Arpita. Last year it was at a five-star hotel near his house in Bandra but this time, the venue was a Juhu nightclub. The party was delayed by a few days as some of Arpita's close friends were not in town.u00a0u00a0

Adds the source, "Salman gives a free rein to Arpita and lets her decide everything from the menu to the venue and the guest list."

Those who attended the party included Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Riteish Deshmukh and Dabangg heroine Sonakshi with her parents Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha. Aamir Khan left on Wednesday night for Australia to promote Peepli [Live] at the Melbourne film fest and couldn't attend.
