Bobby Deol in Anees Bazmee's next Thank You

Bobby Deol has been signed for a pivotal role opposite Sonam Kapoor in Anees Bazmee's Thank You. The unit shoots in Vancouver for a month-long schedule, April 15 onwards.

Bazmee's script is designed predominantly as an Akshay-Sonam love story. But there is an important male character in the film. Apparently, Anees was thinking of casting another leading actor in the role, but Akki suggested they approach Bobby, who is Akshay's close buddy. In fact, even their wives areu00a0 very close friends.
The Khiladi has always been veryu00a0 fond of Bobby. Deol Jr, too has singled Akshayu00a0 out as his only friend inu00a0 the film industry. The two worked together in Abbas-Mustan's Ajnabee and Suneel Darshan's Dosti. Afteru00a0 Dosti, Akshayu00a0u00a0 vowed he wouldu00a0 work with Bobby at the earliest opportunity.
