Old world charm
I went to Barcelona with my hubby, Rajeev Singh. It was so romantic. The city is a very picturesque one with its Gaudi, Baroque and Catalan buildings.
The cobblestone streets are dotted with cafes, parks, fire eaters, musicians, etc. Luckily, the weather was near perfect with only a slight chill in the evenings.
We loved the area near the Santa Maria church, which was filled with eating joints. We visited the Picasso museum, Sangrada Familia church and other cathedrals.
One of the most happening places is Las Ramblas, where we enjoyed drinking Tapas. The beach town of Sechi was straight out of a picture post cardu00a0-- white-washed houses, clean beaches and tall palm trees.
Fun in the sun
I did a lot of shopping in the branded outlets like Zara, Bershka, and H&M. Surprisingly, Indians own all the curio shops.
I got some knick knacks, Spanish football jerseys and souvenirs for friends and family. I loved the seafood Paella and the chilled-out Spaniards.
