All is not well between Chase director Jagmohan Mundra and producer Anuj Saxena. The duo is at loggerheads over the thriller's editing which has put the project on hold.
Jag is adamant that the film be the way he has shot and edited it, while Anuj has asked for several alterations.

Chase's promotional video has also been shot. After its the first viewing, Anuj's Maverick Productions folk expressed several reservations about the look.

The source adds, "Severe differences have cropped up between the producer and director. Both are refraining from making a spectacle about it as they don't want to jeopardise the project. Moreover, Jag is under contract so he does not want to spell out the problem to avoid legal hassles."
Incidentally, in April last year, Chase had also run into a spot of trouble. When the film's first rushes were seen, they didn't appear in perfect flow and Anuj was unhappy with the results. As a result, some portions had to be reshot.

The cast of Chase includes Anuj Saxena, Udita Goswami, Samir Kochhar, Aditya Raj Kapoor, Tarina Patel, Rajesh Khattar and Shweta Menon. It has been shot in Mumbai and Kashmir. When the film had rolled, it had created a buzz when original choice Esha Deol had backed out of the project at the last minute.
Anuj had earlier produced the Aftab Shivdasani-Aamna Shariff starrer Aloo Chaat.

Both Anuj and Jag remained unavailable for comment.
