One film wonder Chirag Paswan who featured with Kangna Ranaut in the 2011 film Miley Naa Miley Hum has clearly left behind his Bollywood aspirations.

Son of politician Ram Vilas Paswan, Chirag is contesting from the Jamui parliamentary constituency in Bihar on the Lok Janshakti Party ticket — a party floated by his father.  While Paswan Sr is contesting from Hajipur, also in Bihar, he diverted all his energies in Jamui to garner support for his son.

Six years ago, bitten by the acting bug, Chirag parked himself in Mumbai and did the Bollywood rounds hoping to find a foothold. When he realised that the going was tough inspite of his father’s backing, he decided to take the plunge in politics. Chirag incidentally considers it as his homecoming.
