A source close to the comic star says, "When shooting for Housefull in Italy, the unit needed Italians to come around for a scene, so they spread the news that India's Clooney was shooting (which was supposed to be Akshay, by the way) but when the crowd came in, they noticed Chunky mouthing all the dialogues and Akshay just performing stunts.

They thronged around the funnyman thinking he was the desi Clooney. Akki and Sajid thought that Pandey had spread the news.
In the end credits of the film, we see Chunky being beaten for this prank, when actually he had nothing to do with it. The Italians still mail the actor though, referring to him as the Indian Clooney."
