Priety Zinta was visited by the police on her special day over the weekend. Some of the neighbours had complained about the loud music playing at the party from late Saturday night to early Sunday morning.

However, the neighbours have also reported that the music went back to being as loud as ever once the police left!

On a more nicer note, Priety celebrated her birthday with a beautiful gesture. She has adopted 34 orphaned girls from the Mother Miracle school in Hrishikesh.

She tells us a little reluctantly, "Yes. I have adopted them and will be completely looking after their education, food, clothes etc. It's an amazing feeling to be part of their lives. I'm going to make it a point to visit them atleast twice a year. They are my children, my responsibility now."

She'd earlier decided to get a car but changed her mind as she wanted to make some kind of difference in the world, "The horrors of female foeticide and child abuse are not just headlines for me. These 34 girls are just the beginning, I am going to adopt a couple more on every birthday!"

Earlieru00a0the police has been called in for other hi-profile dos too; the latest having been for Hrithik Roshan's party on the 9th of January. Parmeshwar Godrej's party for Liz Hurley last year had been similarly stopped by the law-keepers.
