Reports of Salman Khan and Arijit Singh's cold war took a bitter turn when it was suggested that the actor demanded the singer's vocals be dropped from the upcoming Vashu Bhagnani venture, Welcome To New York. However, in an interview to a daily, Bhagnani denied Singh's involvement in the project, calling the rumours a "bad case of Chinese whispers". "Arijit Singh never sang for Welcome to New York in any capacity and this can be checked," Bhagnani apparantly stated. Was this smoke without fire then?
