While Lara Dutta remained in touch with ex-boyfriend Kelly Dorje after she split with him, she is not on talking terms with Dino Morea, after their recent break-up. Which is why Dino didn't invite her to the launch of a new branch of a hotel chain owned by him.
Says a source close to Dino, "Lara and Dino's relationship ended on a bitter note. Dino went through hell trying to cope with the sudden termination of the relationship by the actress. He was shocked when Lara spoke about their break-up to friends, and even in an interview, when all along, she had forbidden him to speak about them being together.
Today, their relationship has soured to the extent that Lara, who used to be seen at most of Dino's parties and events even as friends, was conspicuous by her absence at Dino's opening of Cru00e9pe Station at Oshiwara."
Dino says, "I don't want to talk about it." When we ask Lara whether she didn't come for the launch because she wasn't invited and that she's not on talking terms with Dino, Lara says, "I am in London shooting for House Full."
What's brewing?
At the launch, Dino was seen leaving in the same car as VJ Pia Trivedi. But the actor maintains there is nothing romantic going on between them, "Pia and I are just friends. There is nothing more. In fact, she is my brother Nic's friend. We all hang out in a group together and when everyone was leaving I too piled onto the car she was in. Right now, I am not dating anyone and I want it to be like that. I want to be in 'Dino Land'u00a0 u2014 in my own space for some time."
