Down memory lane

I spent my childhood in Guwahati, Assam, where the rains were truly magical. The hills looked lovely with the green cover and we could hear the roar of the Brahmaputra every now and then. After the scorching summer months, monsoons used to be cool and pleasant in Guwahati. We used to play in the rains every now and then.
It rains quite heavily in Assam and there used to be frequent hailstones. Watching the hailstones was quite a sight! Sitting on the courtyard with a cup of hot chai chatting with friends and family, going for a walk in the tea gardens, lazing around, monsoons were very laidback and fun. Looking back, it all seems very beautiful.u00a0
