'Ghanchakkar' is also director Rajkumar Gupta's first light-hearted film after grim and gritty celulloid offerings 'Aamir' and 'No One Killed Jessica'.

"He (Gupta) was offering me such a different film and I felt this would be the best film as my first comedy," the 33-year-old said on Wednesday at a promotional event for the film.

"While reading the script I felt that it is very interesting and I had never read anything like that. It's about real situations and real people. So, I had to say yes and I am so happy I did," added the actress who has teamed up with Gupta for the second time after 'No One Killed Jessica'.

At all 'Ghanchakkar' promotions Vidya dresses like her character Neetu and this one was no different as both, the actress and her co-star Emraan Hashmi, acted like their characters from the movie.

Produced by UTV, 'Ghanchakkar' is a comic-thriller and is coming out June 28.
