Model Tinu Varghese opened the show with a dramatic multi-layered print dress worn over floral stockings, and slowly unfolded a fashion story, peeling off at its own melodic pace, while music legends John Lenon and Paul McCartney sang, I want to hold your hand.

Gaurav has made some conscious changes on the drawing table, and that's what made the viewing experience wonderfully mysterious. Everyday-wear pieces like drape trousers swaggered with the confidence of sophisticated chic; the flare trousers, silk check shirt and jacket can help you gain some serious KRA points at work.

High necks highlighted by lace frills, voluminous collars, grungy metal embroidery elevated otherwise regular Joe-like collars and shoulders.

A sudden burst of hot pink after a line in pensive colours, engaged the audience in a narrative punctuated by the stunning reinvention of Gaurav's signature drape sarees. This superbly styled show (Gaurav Kalra) saw an interesting play of light and music, all coming together to create one big design picture.
