My musical inspirations can come from anywhere! Sights, emotions, sounds. Like most musicians, most times it a feeling
Elation, sadness, euphoria, love, frustration, anger, fear. When you write under the influence of a feeling, there is so much more truth in your song, than just picking a subject randomly and running with it.u00a0When I was younger I wanted to write a song like Fly Away by Lenny Kravitz. It’s still one of my all time favourite songs. The guitar riff at the beginning gets me, like, straight in the heart. I’m a big Prodigy fan.

Anushka Manchanda, singer
I started playing electronic music with my band because of two things. The first was Prodigy. Their big beats, crazy sounds, and bad-ass vibe is unbeatable. The second was psychedelic music. I love the trippy sounds of Air, Atmos and Ocelot.
Back home Rekha Bharwaj’s rich, gorgeous voice makes my hair stand. There’s a rawness in her voice that’s just beautiful. Abhijit Nalani (who works with Vishal-Shekhar) is a boy-wonder, and his production, programming and keys-playing skills are out of this world. He can do anything, and it’s inspiring to see him nail every track he does.
