Bizarre but true! Ranbir Kapoor seems to enjoy pain
The actor apparently believes in the Bollywood adage — mard ko dard nahin hota.u00a0While shooting for his upcoming film, the actor had to enact a chase sequence in a public place with the cops tailing him.
During the shot, RK tripped on an iron rod that stopped him in his tracks. Though in agony, the actor continued with his shot refusing any medication.
Says a unit source, “Ranbir was running in this area which had iron railings and one of them had a rod jutting out. While dodging the cops and turning back to see how far they were, he collided with the rod. As he was running fast, he fell down due to the impact.”
When one of the unit hands rushed to his aide, he refused medication and quipped, “I like pain.”
Adds the source, “Though he had a bruise on his leg which resulted in swelling, he continued with the shoot and even refused to rub ice on the swollen areas.
RK was shooting recently in Darjeeling for Anurag Basu’s film. He and co-stars Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz returned to the hill station after an extensive shoot last year that was marred by unmanageable crowds and inclement weather. u00a0
