Kunal Kapoor, who is shooting for Nila Madhab Panda's Oocha Gaon Neecha Gaon, a social satire based on water scarcity, has been told to lose his muscle mass.

The actor, who is known to be a fitness fanatic, has been asked to stop working out to lose his muscle definition.



Says a unit source, “The director felt that his body looked too glamourous for the role. He had to lose mass to look the character.”

Adds the source, “Kunal has also been put on a strict diet by his trainer for a lean look as soon as possible. He is also growing a long beard as part of the character’s getup.”

Best remembered for his role in Rang De Basanti, Kunal essays a village prince whose kingdom is hard-hit by severe water shortage. The actor is presently shooting in Haryana.u00a0
