Lyricist Irshad Kamil did not take any money for writing the lyrics of the 'Pink' anthem. He only took a token amount of rupee 1.
The anthem released shortly after the Big B-starrer hit theatres. It features several women celebrating life in their own unique way.
Says producer Shoojit Sircar, "He has written beautiful words symbolising what Pink stands for."
