Reports suggest that though Mamta Kulkarni is being detained and interrogated, the Kenyan police and the US Drug Enforcement Agency are yet to formally charge her.

Mamta, who was a Bollywood siren in the '90s, has resurfaced in news after disappearing from the limelight more than a decade ago.

She starred in films like 'Karan Arjun' and 'Baazi' in the '90s. She was last seen in the 2002-film 'Kabhie Tum Kabhie Hum' that tanked at the box-office.
