The buzz was that Irrfan would be playing the main lead. The buzz is now getting stronger that the film is slated to go on the floors soon.
Gulzar’s daughter has earlier directed Filhaal (2002), Just Married (2007) and a short film Pooranmasi for Dus Kahaniyaan (2007). It has taken her over seven years to call the shots again.
