Mira Nair was rushed to hospital for not keeping well

Yesterday, we called Mira Nair in Kampala, Uganda, where she is based. The filmmaker was keen to talk about her film, Queen of Katwe starring Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o. But we were told by her son that she was unwell and was being rushed to hospital. Hope she will soon be on the road to recovery and geared up for the film’s release next month.
