Here is the new angry young man of Indian cricket. Yes, we are talking about cricketer Munaf Patel who has been fined 25 per cent and 50 per cent of his match fees on two different occasions of the ongoing cricket league.

>> Munaf Patel is born in Ikhar, Gujarat and has played for West Zone, Maharashtra, Mumbai and Gujarat.

>> Cricketer Kiran More first noticed him for his raw pace.

>> In 2006, he took three wickets during the ICC Champions Trophy. At the time, it was being said that the film Iqbal was inspired from his life story.

>> In 2008, during a Sri Lanka-India One Day International, Munaf was fined 75 per cent of his match fees for being offensive towards Umpire Gamini Silva for having turned down an LBW appeal by Munaf. Although Munaf pleaded not guilty, he was penalised.

>> A few months later, Delhi lodged a complaint against Munaf (who was playing for Rest of India) for abusing their batsmen during the Irani Trophy. One of the batsmen at the receiving end was Virender Sehwag.

>> During the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2011, he was involved in an altercation with Amit Mishra, another India teammate where the umpires had to separate the two by intervening.

>> In the ongoing cricket league, Munaf was fined 25 per cent of his match fees for having a heated argument with the umpires and a warning from captain Harbhajan Singh for breaching the code of conduct for the series.u00a0
