Director Nagesh Kukunoor left for Thailand late last night. The Thai officials invited the director for this year'su00a0 Entertainment Expo. The Thai government organises the event and Nagesh will talk to the officials on the consensus they are willing to offer to Bollywood in the future.

Nagesh is familiar withu00a0 shooting facilities in Thailand as he shot his film Bombay To Bangkok (2008) there. The director is naturally thrilled, "I've kept in touch with the officials in Thailand, also with people working here in the Indian consulate. Many movies are already shot there and the people are very welcoming and warm. But with this Expo they are looking at improving the working relationship with filmmakers from India."

Fruitful tie
The maker is also invited for a special dinner with the Prime Minister of Thailand, Abhisit Vejjajiva while on this trip. The director says, "It's a great pleasure to be invited by the Thai Prime Minister. I am really looking forward to it. It's really nice to see the impact of Bollywood movies on Thai people. This tie is obviously going to be fruitful for them in terms of tourism and also putting them on the map of Bollywood makers."

Nagesh adds, "I want to check out what kind of deals on the locations, equipments and manpower are they willing to offer and will plan my next in the country accordingly. I am already writing a new script, which is entirely based in Thailand and I am exploring a new dimension of the country in this new script which is obviously different from what I did in Bombay To Bangkok."
