Neetu Chandra has vamoosed from the Hindi film scene. She is looking South. The recent release, Tamil thriller Vaigai Express, features her in a stellar role.
Neetu says Tamil films gave her recognition. She began as a South actress before veering towards Bollywood, that's where she belongs.
In October last year, the actress had bought a new house in Mumbai. The actress-entrepreneur had purchased a swanky 2BHK house in Andheri as she was keen to have her own space and her new pad is a stone's throw from where her family resides.
She was also in a play Umrao Jaan that went international. The musical, that was both in Hindi and Urdu, had her performing non-stop for two hours.
