TV host on her meeting with the filmmaker at the premiere of his film in Paris and Brussels

It was an absolute action adventure. I was there for four days from October 20 to 24. We went to Brussels where Tintin was born. I was euphoric to see his murals on the street walls.
He is like their local national hero. I saw Herge's museum, the man who created Tintin. I travelled from Brussels to Paris on the Tintin train with the cast and the crew. I remember when SS was unveiling the train he said he hadn't travelled on a train inu00a0 15 years. At the red carpet premiere in Paris there was so much fan frenzy.
Meeting Spielberg: Steven Spielberg had never met Herge, the writer of the series who inspired him to take Tintin to the big screen. So when I asked him, if he were to meet Herge, what would he want to say to the creator? The next morning when I went to meet him, he immediately recognised me.

I was surprised to see someone who has achieved so much could be so humble. When I started chatting with him I felt I was talking to a buddy. The respect he showed to everyone was unbelievable.
Wow Moment: I told him I would like to direct him in a shot (in the video interview). He was game. He wrote me a note, which brought tears to my eyes. I framed it and displayed it on the wall in my house. This was a lifetime opportunity.
