When Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist made a big boo-boo at a film event
Aamir Khan
Like his buddy Salman Khan, Aamir Khan might just draw the ire of the hospitality industry for a certain remark that he made during the poster launch of his upcoming wrestling drama, Dangal.

During a QnA session with the media, Aamir couldn’t stop himself from praising Salman, whose Eid release, Sultan, also explores wrestling. “Salman is a bigger star than me. I think Shah Rukh (Khan) is a bigger star. Amitabh (Bachchan)ji is a bigger star. When Salman arrives (at an event), it looks like a big star has entered. When I enter, it feels like a waiter has entered,” he said.
Realising his faux pas, Aamir immediately corrected himself, “Oh, I shouldn’t have said that. Waiters are trained people. But, I just mean that when I enter, it doesn’t feel like a star has entered. So, Salman and Shah Rukh are bigger stars than I am.”
On Salman's comment
At the event, Aamir also stated that Salman’s notorious remark about feeling like a raped woman was “rather unfortunate and insensitive”, and later clarified that all is well between him and the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star. There had been buzz of a cold war between Sallu and Aamir since their upcoming films (Sultan and Dangal respectively) are based on the same theme.
