Pankaj Kapoor's Mausam delayed

Shahid Kapoor's first home production cancelled due to Eyjafjallajokull eruptions for the second time

The ash clouds hovering overu00a0 Europe seem to be playing havoc with schedules in Bollywood as well. The most severely affected project is Pankaj Kapoor's Mausam which was meant to start with a schedule last month in Scotland. It was cancelled after Iceland's volcano Eyjafjallaj kull first erupted with ash-clouds enveloping the European skies.



The schedule had to be cancelled in the hope that theu00a0 Mausam team would make upu00a0 for lost time in the next schedule. However Shahid and his father's proposed travel plans to Scotland this week had to be cancelled again because of the ash clouds.

The Mausam crew wasu00a0 booked for Edinburgh on May 16. For the second time theiru00a0 trip was cancelled, thereby creating a panic situationu00a0u00a0 within the unit. Shahid and his father are now scheduled to fly to Scotland on May 22. Inu00a0 the meanwhile, Shahid is chilling.

Confirming the unscheduled setbacks to Mausam, Shahid says, "I'm just chilling with family and friends. There's no point worrying about things that are out of one's control."
