Parineeti Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh had been signed for Rohit Jugraj's remake of Basu Chaterjee's Anil Kapoor, Amrita Singh, starrer, Chameli Ki Shaadi (1986).
But now, word is, the film has been put on hold. Turns out that the makers faced several production issues including a big budget. Remaking is not exactly an easy task, we guess!
