Podar college won the CloseUp Fteen Cricket Tournament, an inter-collegiate cricket tournament organised by Shilpa Kale of Miraya from May 4-19, at the Indian Airlines Ground, Kalina. In its third season, Fteen had participation from 16 cricket-playing colleges of Mumbai and was sponsored by CloseUp, Radio One, Mid Day, midday.com and Cricket Today.

Podar college won the CloseUp Fteen Cricket Tournament, an inter-collegiate cricket tournament organised by Shilpa Kale of Miraya from May 4-19, at the Indian Airlines Ground, Kalina. In its third season, Fteen had participation from 16 cricket-playing colleges of Mumbai and was sponsored by CloseUp, Radio One, Mid Day, midday.com and Cricket Today.
The tournament was conducted in the shorter version of the game with 15 overs on both the sides and on a knock-out basis. College that made it to the top this season were VES, Podar, Hinduja and Jhunjhunwala.
The finals, held on Wednesday between Podar and Jhunjhunwala, kept the spectators on the edge of their seats. Podar College managed a thrilling 7 runs victory.
Ranji player Abhijit Shetye, who was the guest of honour, handed over the trophy to the winning team. Jhunjhunwala College's Deepak Shetty was declared the Batsman of the Tournament with 99 runs, while Podar College's Pratik Sargade was the Best Bowler with 10 wickets.
