Ronit Roy will be the host and chef on Kitchen Champion, the desi version of Top Chef that has Padma Lakshmi as one of the jury members.
The show will air on Colors from next month with several known names as contestants.
Says Ronit, "I am comfortable in the kitchen and can cook. As a bachelor, I had been cooking for 10 years.
From pastas to Bengali food, I can conjure them all. This show will have me in a distinct avatar."
