The FICCI Frames Excellence Awards ceremony saw some of the biggest celebrities step out to support their winning colleagues. Shah Rukh Khan bagged the Global Entertainment and Media Personality award, while Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan were awarded for their outstanding performances in Paa. Ranbir Kapoor won the Best Entertainer award, while A R Rahman bagged the Global Icon of the Year award. Pritam was given the Best Music Director award for Love Aaj Kal. Among the audience were Ramesh Sippy who came with his wife Kiran Juneja, Karan Johar, Yash Chopra, Rahul Bose, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Neha Dhupia and musician duo Salim-Suleiman.
