Aamir Khan gave Sachin Tendulkar several inputs for his docu-drama, Sachin: A Billion Dreams. Mr Perfectionist and the cricket icon are good friends and reside within a few meters of each other.
Sachin turned to Aamir for inputs given his role in Lagaan (2001), which was centered on a do-or-die cricket match, and also because he trusts his filmmaking skills. Sachin had earlier told us he considers Aamir a great actor, and a wonderful person. Looks like a mutual admiration club to us.
