Word is the makers of the 2007 Salman Khan-Govinda-starrer Partner have revived plans of making a sequel. In 2011, there had been buzz that Sallu had evinced interest in the comic caper which also starred Katrina Kaif and Lara Dutta.

However, things were on the backburner. Now there is talk that Sajid-Farhad are being roped in as directors. David Dhawan, who called the shots in the first outing, is unlikely to direct the sequel as he is making a second outing of his 1997 comedy Judwaa which will star his son Varun Dhawan.

Whether Sallu and Chi Chi will reprise their roles is not known. Or, perhaps, it will feature fresh talent. But, there is nothing like seeing the magic of the two stars together
