The star was among those nominated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of his Swachh Bharat initiative. Sallu in turn nominated each and every fan of his to stop throwing garbage around.
The star also nominated his buddy Aamir Khan among others. The PM later tweeted, “The effort by @BeingSalmanKhan is a significant one that will inspire several people to join Swachh Bharat Mission. #MyCleanIndia.”
