In what comes as a big relief for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, a court in Jodhpur on Wednesday acquitted him in the 1998 Arms Act case.


This is what Salman Khan tweeted after the verdict:



"Thank you for all the support and good wishes"

Arms Act case was one of the four cases against Salman Khan. While the Rajasthan High Court has acquitted him in two cases of poaching of chinkara, trial in the third case of alleged poaching of two blackbucks is on.

Salman Khan and his sister Alvira arrived in Jodhpur on Tuesday evening.

A large number of the actor's fans were also present near the court premises.
