Saloni's funny moves

Saloni Diani aka Gangubai lives up to her reputation of Chota Packet Bada Dhamaka. After stints with various shows as a stand up comedian, Saloni is all set to anchor a kid's dance reality show for a popular channel. CS chats with this cutie pie about her love for dancing:



One, two, three, four
I love all kinds of dance, and move my body to all types of music. Break dance and Hip-Hop are my favourite forms. Saroj (Khan) aunty is one of my favourite choreographers, and I want to learn from her. Amongst actors, I love Hrithik Roshan's and Priyanka Chopra's dancing skills. Hrithik's dances in Krishh are my favourite.u00a0

Show time
My exams just got over, and we will start shooting by next month. This show is like my summer camp. I want to make friends with the contestants, dance with them and tell them jokes when they're nervous. Pravesh bhaiyya, who co-hosts with me, is a lot of fun too. He's told me that he will play with me whenever he's free.

Funny bone
I absolutely love doing comedy. Recently, I saw 3 Idiots and loved Omi Vaidya's and Boman Irani's acting. However I don't write my own lines. When someone gives me a comedy script, I like to add my creativity to it by ways of diction, body language and voice that suits the character.

Off screen
I am a quiet child, but sometimes I do a lot of masti. I study in Thakur Vidyamandir School and I am a very good student. This time I scored 95 per cent marks. In school, many of my teachers refer to me as Gangubai. It's quite funny. Besides, I enjoy swimming, cycling and skating. Now my holidays are on, and my cousin Ninad has come to stay over at my place. Everyday we go swimming and play for hours on end.
