Just before Sanjay Dutt took off for a vacation to Europe, he dubbed for Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos. Given that the film is a musical, most of the interaction that happens between lead pair Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, is via music.
Now that the film is up for release, Basu felt a narrator would add to the story. It is said that Ranbir, who plays Dutt in his upcoming biopic, suggested the Munna Bhai actor's name.
