Medical emergency
His father, Anil Talpade, required emergency medical care after being diagnosed with a clot in the leg. He was admitted to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Andheri over the weekend where he was operated.

A scare
"Dad is still in hospital. He is better now and on the road to recovery. It came as a scare that just a pain in the leg could have resulted in such an emergency," says the Iqbal and Om Shanti Om actor.
Informs Shreyas, "He had been complaining of pain in the legs for a while which we thought was due to age. In the last few months, he did everything possible but the pain would keep recurring. He even completely changed his footwear."
Quick call
On Saturday, the pain was excruciating. "He was in the bank when he realised that he could not walk. Initially, an orthopaedic doctor was consulted but later we were advised to take him to the hospital. Luckily, my wife Deepti was here. She took the call and had him immediately operated."
Shreyas's father is in the automobile business. "He is more excited than I am about buying a new set of wheels."

On Tuesday, Shreyas flew back to Kashmir for the shoot of Mad Madder Maddest. He is now looking forward to his long-complete films seeing the light of day. "The Hangman released finally and now Click is also releasingu00a0-- finally."
