Shruti Haasan will not go the Himesh way

Shruti Haasan, who made her debut as an actress with last year's dud Luck, first rose to fame as a singer.

She and her band had many hits to their credit, but now that they have disbanded, Shruti is looking at new ways to satisfy her creative urges u2013 compose music for Hindi films. She has even bought a flat in the city with every intention of settling down here.
