After the demise of her sister Simple, Dimple Kapadia has been taking care of heru00a0nephew Karan. The actress had got him to assist Rahul Dholakia on Society, in which she is acting.
The boy wanted to spend his summer break working on a movie set rather than sitting at home. Rahul happily agreed when Dimple requested him to let the 16-year-old assist him.u00a0
A source reveals, "Karan has been living with Akshay and Tina and he's extremely close to Dimple. Since she's acting in Society, he asked her if he could accompany her on the sets and get a feel of the movie-making process. That's when Dimple suggested he assist Rahul." Initially, he was nervous, but the directoru00a0 assured him it would be a fun process.
No privileges
However, the teenager didn't get any special privileges on the sets according to a unit member, "He was treated like the rest of the assistants. In fact, Dimple would keep pulling him up and ask him to work harder."
Rahul confims, "Karan was assisting me for a short bit. He is now back to studying."
