After attending workshops for Saawariya and Delhi 6 to get into the skin of the character, Sonam Kapoor is now working on her next character Ayesha.

The actress and her co-star Abhay Deol are attending workshops for voice modulation to get inontation and diction right.

First-person account

Says a source, "Sonamu00a0 plays the role ofu00a0 a high-society girl from Delhi. It's a first person account and a chick flick / romcom like Clueless and 13 Going On 30, told from the girl's point of view.

Sonam, Abhay Deol and four other actors from the film are attending a month-long workshop where they are also getting to know each other, which will help them perform better."

Working it

Actress Jayati Bhatia, who had acted in the Vagina Monologues, is helping Sonam, Abhay and the artists to develop their characters for the film in the workshop. Sonam attends the workshop for almost five hours a day."

The source further informs that the actress is working on her accent and tone for the part.

After Saawariya and Delhi 6 that largely required her to romp largely in an ethnic wear, in Ayesha Sonam will transform into her offscreen fashionista avatar.

Sonam says, "Yes, I am doing a workshop for Ayesha along with Abhay but it's too early divulge any details about it." The film rolls in August. Directed by Rajshri Ojha, it is a modern-day Indian adaptation of Jane Austen's novel Emma.
