Sujoy Ghosh plans short film on Satyajit Ray's story

He expressed delight that his long-awaited dream of making a film on Ray’s writings will be realised soon. The 50-year-old director tweeted, "Finally... I get to make a Satyajit Ray story. Short film, but one step at a time."

However, at this point, it isn’t clear which story he wishes to adapt for the screen.

Sujoy’s last film was Vidya Balan-starrer Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh, a sequel to the 2012 film Kahaani.
