Tarun Mansukhani's Dostana starring Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra released in 2008. Though there was talk of a sequel, it never took off. He then got busy with the animation flick, Koochie Koochie Hota Hai, which did not see light of day either.
The director's next Bollywood outing, Drive, which features Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez is slated to release on March 2, next year; it is being touted as a Holi release. It took Tarun 10 years to hit the marquee again — a rather long and patient journey.
