The actress picks her choice of flicks...

HERO: I was quite young when I saw the film. The flute piece fascinated meu00a0 the music still haunts me whenever I hear it. Shakti Kapoor played that slanderous character so well it gave me nightmares. Jackie Shroff's was the best debut I have seen. Meenakshi Sheshadri too was fab; both as an actress and as a dancer. I still remember the romance in the film, it was Subhash Ghai's best!

SOUND OF MUSIC: I fell in love with the kids in the film. Being from a family of many siblings and cousins, I could totally relate to the fun the kids were having. The lyrics and the music was perfect. I have seen it at least 10 times and can still watch it again and again.

MUGHAL-E-AZAM:
I used to keep on watching it with my family all the time. My grandparents, parents everyone saw it. Being from a traditionally rich Urdu background, we would keep discussing the dialogues, performances, lyrics and Madhubala. We would also try and imitate the kind of jewellery Madhubala wore in the film and the way she danced to Jab Pyaar Kiya ufffd

MOTHER INDIA: My grandmother was a very strong woman and I realised it when I saw this movie. Nargis's journey from bride to mother and finally killing her own son was wonderfully portrayed. I was amazed with her acting what a great opportunity for her to do a film in an era when women would hardly go out of the house. Hats off to Mehoob Khan as the director of the film.

QAYAMAT SE QAYAMAT TAK: I was in school when I saw this movie and it was an age when you feel that guys should look at you and I should look good enough. You blush often when a guy looks at you. The actors, songs and story of this movie were so perfect. It was a trendsetter.
