Tusshar runs for cancer

Tusshar Kapoor has been visiting the Mahavir Cancer hospital in Jaipur for the last few years. He works closely with the hospital staff and tries and spends time with the patients, at least once a year, or whenever he is in the city.




Doing all he can
On his recent visit to the hospital (see pic), he even put up a performance for the patients and the hotel staff. He also plans to take part in a marathon in support of cancer patients.

Says Tusshar, "I like spending time with these patients. A visit from anyone cheers them up and brightens up their day. I was introduced to the hospital by a friend and ever since, I try and visit them at least once a year. It's important that we talk about the fact that if diagnosed early, cancer is curable. I know of a few cases of people who have battled the disease early on and emerged cancer-free."

He confirms that he will participate in the marathon to support the cause, "That's sometime next year. As a part of the film industry and an entertainer, I want to do as much as I can in my capacity to create awareness about cancer and get people educated about it."
