Udit Narayan's first wife claims he removed her uterus without consent

Renowned playback singer Udit Narayan found himself caught up in controversy once again after his first wife, Ranjana Jha, recently approached the Women's Police Station in Bihar's Supaul. She has filed a formal complaint against him on Tuesday, accusing him, his two brothers, and his second wife of serious criminal offences. Arriving with her advocate, Karunakant Jha, she submitted an application, alleging that she was subjected to a criminal conspiracy wherein her uterus was removed without her knowledge. She informed that she got to know of this only years later during medical treatment. Udit Narayan's ex-wife files a complaint In her complaint, Ranjana identified herself as the 61-year-old daughter of Chandrakant Jha, residing at Sanskrit Nirmali Ward No. 11 under the Balua Bazar Police Station area in Supaul district. She mentioned that she married Udit Narayan on December 7, 1984, as per Hindu customs and rituals. "Udit, however, left for Mumbai in 1985 to pursue his singing career. Through media reports, I later came to know that he married Deepa Narayan and since then had been staying with her. A case of marital discord and deception is already going on. Udit, though admitted to his first marriage, never gave the status of his first wife nor supported her financially," she stated in her complaint dated February 10. Rohit Shetty

Rohit Shetty firing case: Mumbai police invoke MCOCA against accused

Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty has come under the spotlight after a shocking firing incident outside his residence in Mumbai, prompting authorities to take strict legal action. The shooting reportedly took place in the early hours of February 1, when unidentified assailants fired multiple rounds near his Juhu home. Although no injuries were reported, the incident triggered immediate concern within law enforcement agencies and the film industry due to its brazen nature. New developments in the case Following the attack, Mumbai Police launched a detailed investigation through the Crime Branch and Anti-Extortion Cell. Officials soon detained several suspects believed to be connected to the case. Investigators tracked key evidence, including the motorcycle allegedly used in the crime, with the help of CCTV footage and forensic inputs. Preliminary findings suggest that some of the accused may have travelled from Pune to Mumbai specifically to execute the plan before attempting to escape. In a major development, police invoked the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) against the accused, highlighting the seriousness of the offence. The law is typically applied in cases involving organised crime syndicates, indicating that authorities suspect the attack may be linked to a broader criminal network rather than an isolated act. All about Rohit Shetty's residence firing case Investigators are also examining the alleged role of a weapon supplier who is believed to have provided the firearm used in the shooting. Reports indicate that the individual may have had connections with members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, while another suspect is being considered a possible mastermind behind the operation. Authorities are reviewing encrypted communications and other digital evidence to better understand the planning and coordination that may have preceded the attack. All arrested suspects have been placed in police custody as officers continue their interrogation and gather additional evidence. Meanwhile, the search is ongoing for the main shooter, who is still absconding. The incident has led to heightened security around Rohit Shetty and increased vigilance across the entertainment industry. Given past threats involving public figures, the case has once again raised concerns about celebrity safety and the growing influence of organised crime networks.

Days after Rohit Shetty's house was attacked, actor Ranveer Singh received a threatening voice note on Tuesday evening. While Mumbai Police continues to investigate the matter, new details have now emerged.  VPN used to send threat messages to Ranveer Singh? A News18 report claims that a source informed them that the threatening voice message received by Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh on WhatsApp, sent via a VPN number. The source added that the VPN usage is making the sender’s IP address and location untraceable. The message reportedly demanded a large sum of money and even claimed links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. After receiving the threat, Ranveer Singh immediately informed the Mumbai Police. As a result, authorities heightened security outside his residence. Mumbai Police also launched an investigation and is currently working to identify and trace the individual responsible for the voice note. Rohit Shetty’s residence attacked Notably, this is not the first security scare involving Bollywood celebrities in recent days. Earlier this month, the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for a firing outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence in Mumbai’s Juhu area. According to reports, at least five rounds were fired at the first floor of Rohit Shetty’s nine-storey building at around 12:45 am. One bullet allegedly hit the glass facade of a gym. So far, five people have been arrested in connection with the incident that took place on February 8. The gang has previously claimed responsibility for the multiple attacks on Kapil Sharma’s cafe in Canada. They have also issued multiple threats against Salman Khan. Additionally, according to IANS, a threatening email was also sent to a close associate of Salman Khan. The message allegedly demanded crores of rupees from Salman's associate and referenced connections to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Vir Das reacts to MP using his Two Indias reference in Parliament

A few years ago, comedian and actor, Vir Das, left the country divided with his infamous monologue 'Two Indias' where he spoke about the contrasting realities of the country. The monologue was recently used as a reference by a TMC MP, Abhishekh Banerjee, during his Lok Sabha speech, years later. Vir has reactedto the use of his monologue being used by the MP. Vir Das on Two Indias reference in Parliament Vir shared a video on X, and wrote, "In PARLIAMENT? Really? This happened last night (sic)." During his speech, Abhishek mentioned that in November 2021, thousands of miles away from India at the Kennedy Centre, Vir Das spoke about two Indias. While some laughed, some were clearly offended. The MP further said, “Few paused to listen, but what he offered was not comedy. It was a warning, a prophecy, a mirror held up to a nation standing at the edge of its own contradictions because I, too, sir, come from two Indias.” In PARLIAMENT? Really? This happened last night. pic.twitter.com/6QuMcGIsg2 — Vir Das (@thevirdas) February 11, 2026 Reacting to Abhishek's speech line by line, Vir said, “In Parliament you…? Oh, crap. I am sorry, this is happening on the floor of parliament? Don’t do it. I remember some people laughed. (laughs) Sorry, some who were offended? Who? Who paused to listen? On the floor of Parliament?” “That’s what every single newspaper said, that it wasn’t (comedy). I’m sorry, you got a warning. No, I got a warning. Many warnings. A prophecy? In Parliament? No, it felt like broken glass. No, it was hiding in my house for a really long time. Where were you then?," the Happy Patel actor added. Shreyas Talpade

Shreyas Talpade booked by UP police for duping villagers in a scam worth lakhs

Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade has landed in legal trouble after an FIR was registered against him and 12 others in Uttar Pradesh’s Mainpuri district over an alleged investment scam. The complaint claims that several villagers were cheated out of lakhs of rupees after being persuaded to put their money into a scheme that promised unusually high returns. All about the case According to reports, the accused allegedly promoted the investment as part of a Mumbai based banking venture that was said to be operating locally in the Bhogaon area. Residents were encouraged to invest their savings with assurances that the funds would multiply over time. However, when investors later attempted to withdraw their money, they were reportedly unable to do so, raising suspicions about the legitimacy of the operation. One of the affected individuals eventually approached the court, which directed the police to register a case and begin a formal investigation into the matter. Authorities have now launched a probe to determine the roles and responsibilities of all those named in the FIR. Officials are expected to question the accused and examine financial records to understand how the scheme functioned and whether deliberate misrepresentation took place. The case has drawn significant attention due to Talpade’s public profile and long standing presence in the entertainment industry. All about Shreyas Talpade Known for his breakthrough performance in Iqbal, Talpade later gained widespread popularity through films such as the Golmaal series and has worked across Hindi and Marathi cinema as an actor, director, and producer. He was previously linked to another alleged investment fraud involving a cooperative society accused of luring villagers with promises of high returns. Investigations in that matter were ongoing. As the inquiry progresses, authorities aim to establish the facts and determine accountability. Siddhant Chaturvedi

Siddhant Chaturvedi: 'Gen Z isn't confused in love, it's evolved'

Siddhant Chaturvedi has weighed in on the ongoing debate around modern relationships, firmly stating that “Gen Z isn’t confused in love, this isn’t a generational issue, it’s evolution.” The actor shared how the dynamics of romance have drastically changed in the age of social media. Siddhant Chaturvedi shares his thoughts on modern love According to him, what many perceive as confusion is actually a shift in how love is expressed and understood today. “Today we live in the age of social media, and that has changed the way love works,” he said, highlighting how emotions now unfold in real time, often through screens. Reflecting on earlier times, Siddhant pointed out that confusion in love existed even before social media, just in a very different form. “In our time, confusion existed at a completely different level. There was no social media, so most of the time we simply didn’t know what the other person was feeling. Years would pass, and we’d still be unaware of their emotions,” he shared. He fondly recalled how “we would stand outside school, waiting just to catch a glimpse - hoping for that one look. Did they notice us or not? If they walked away, would they turn back and look? These tiny moments meant everything to us.” Interestingly, Siddhant’s thoughts on modern romance come at a time when he is gearing up for his upcoming romantic film Do Deewane Seher Mein, where he stars opposite Mrunal Thakur. Speaking about today’s dating culture, he added, “Now, even love is heavily influenced by social media. People deliberately put up stories with songs they know the other person likes, then wait to see if they’ve viewed it or liked it. Today, there are so many terms in modern dating, ghosting, breadcrumbing, and more, that half the time we don’t even know what all of them mean.” As audiences await the film, his perspective reinforces one idea - love hasn’t become confusing; it has simply evolved.  About Do Deewane Seher Mein Do Deewane Seher Mein is a love story that feels timeless yet new, and is also touted as one of the cutest and most heartfelt love stories of 2026, bringing back the kind of romance we haven’t seen in cinemas for a long time. Mrunal and Siddhant play characters who are polar opposites and complete misfits, and are still figuring themselves out. It is directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Prerna Singh, Umesh Kumar Bansal and Bharat Kumar Ranga in association with Ravi Udyawar Films. The film arrives as a Valentine’s offering for those who believe love is messy, confusing, and worth it. It’s a film that doesn’t tell you how to feel, but lets you discover it on your own. Do Deewane Sheher Mein is slated for a theatrical release on 20th February 2026.

Ranveer Singh and Rahul Bhat

Rahul Bhat praises Dhurandhar star: 'Ranveer Singh is a very secure actor'

In an industry often defined by competition and larger-than-life egos, Ranveer Singh has consistently stood out,  not just for his impressive performances but also for his grounded nature and humility. In recent days, however, the actor has gained limelight not just for his Dhurandhar act but for his tiff with Excel Entertainmet for walking out of Don 3. He also garnered headlines for reportedly receiving a threatening voice note on WhatsApp demanding money.  Rahul Bhat praises Ranveer Singh Amid this noise around the actor, Rahul Bhat has showered words of praise. The Kennedy actor recently applauded Ranveer’s rare sense of security as a star performer in Dhurandhar during a chat with Money Control.  “Akshaye Khanna and the other actors were brilliant in the movie, but Ranveer Singh was outstanding. And he is a very secure actor… Despite being a star, he is so secure; I love him,” Rahul said. Rahul went a step further, highlighting how unusual such confidence can be in the industry. According to him, senior and established actors often struggle with insecurity, sometimes even getting portions of co-actors’ roles reduced. Ranveer, however, demonstrated the opposite. “Itni security chahiye kisi actor mein… Itna bada star hoga na woh bolega main nahi karoonga… What an interesting actor, and I am very happy for him,” he said. (An actor needs this level of security. A big star might refuse or try to cut scenes of others out of insecurity. What an interesting actor — I am very happy for him.) For many, this quality is what truly sets Ranveer apart. Even at the peak of his stardom, he continues to uplift those around him. Rahul Bhat's work front On the professional front, Rahul Bhat was last seen as DSP Tomar in Netflix’s Black Warrant and is now gearing up for the India release of Kennedy on ZEE5. But his admiration for Ranveer reflects a larger sentiment within the fraternity,  that true superstardom is not just about dominance, but about dignity. That dignity is also matched by numbers. Ranveer Singh has consistently delivered box office successes and cemented his position among the industry’s top stars. With Dhurandhar, he has further strengthened his standing, and with Dhurandhar: The Revenge reportedly in the pipeline, he is poised to scale even greater heights. If the sequel builds on the current momentum, fueled by strong buzz and audience enthusiasm, Ranveer could continue his impressive box office run
